Chief Executive Officer

M. Sanjayan, a global conservation scientist specializing in how nature preserves and enhances human life, serves as Conservation International’s chief executive officer.

Johan Rockström, Ph.D.

Chief Scientist

Johan Rockström is Chief Scientist at Conservation International. He also serves as co-director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, one of Europe’s leading centers for climate change and sustainability research.

Richard Jeo, Ph.D.

Senior Vice President, Asia-Pacific Field Division

Dr. Richard Jeo directs Conservation International’s work in the Asia-Pacific region, overseeing strategies and outcomes in 13 countries. He guides the organization’s role in international and regional networks, as well as partnerships with both the private and public sectors to achieve the best outcomes for people and nature.

Michael B. Mascia, Ph.D.

Senior Vice President, Moore Center for Science
