Robert is responsible for leading partnership strategy and engagement across Conservation International’s Asia Pacific Field Division, including management responsibility for the country programs of Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia.

In this role, Robert’s private-sector experience guides Conservation International’s regional strategic engagements with private donors, corporate partners and conservation finance opportunities.

Robert joined Conservation International as an inaugural member of the Liu-Walton Technical Fellowship Program (2016-2018), prior to which he spent 16 years in the financial sector as a specialist in hedge fund investment strategies and investor markets throughout the United States, Europe and Asia.

Robert grew up in South Africa, studied Economics at the University of Stellenbosch and has passed all levels of the CFA Program.
