Community-based organizations (CBOs)
Small or medium private enterprises
SKEPPIES funds projects which jointly contribute to nature conservation and development, need start-up funding, support entrepreneurship, support business development and form part of other projects in the SKEP priority regions.
By living in and working with the local communities, SKEPPIES staff are able to understand the obstacles facing a lot of small projects. SKEPPIES staff and partners help develop the best possible solutions to ensure the application process runs smoothly for everyone involved.
This hands-on approach has been taken to ensure that we are walking along the same path as our grantees and that they feel supported and empowered throughout the application and project implementation process.
Applications can be submitted to SKEPPIES year round.
