Camila I. Donatti, Ph.D.

Director, Climate Change Adaptation, Nature-based Solutions, Moore Center for Science

Camila Donatti works at the science division at Conservation International. She conducts research to understand the direct and indirect impacts of climate change on ecosystem services and biodiversity and the role and potential of Ecosystem-based adaptation in helping people adapt to those changes.

Part of Camila’s work focuses on presenting and translating the results of this research to policy and decision makers. Camila has also experience addressing the impacts of human-driven activities on plant-animal interactions in the tropics. Camila holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Stanford University, a master’s degree in Agroecosystems Ecology from University of São Paulo (Brazil) and an undergraduate degree in Ecology from São Paulo State University (Brazil).
