She is Conservation International’s leading climate change expert — responsible for driving the organization’s strategy to catalyze nature’s full potential as a climate solution. Her team focuses on guiding innovative climate initiatives and engaging key stakeholders to identify high-impact climate solutions in critical ecosystems and communities globally.
Prior to joining Conservation International, Emily’s work centered on climate change mitigation and adaptation, carbon markets, nature-based solutions, and poverty alleviation. She served as a strategy consultant and advisor to corporations, financial institutions, governments, nonprofits, and philanthropists. Her work with CEOs and senior leaders has been instrumental in helping shepherd opportunities from strategy development to implementation, both in the United States and globally. Emily holds a master’s from Harvard University, an MBA from Cornell University, and a B.A. from Colgate University. She is based in Massachusetts
