Entercom Communications Corp., one of the largest radio broadcasting companies in the United States, has made donations to Conservation International in honor of their employees each year on Earth Day since 2010.
In 2010,
Entercom awarded Conservation International a grant of airtime on its radio stations worth US$ 1 million.
The three-part series covered topics ranging from the use of carbon offsets to the support of local livelihoods in poor nations and the amazing world of amphibians. These shows featured friends of Conservation International, including Stone Gossard
of Pearl Jam and former The Simpsons writer George Meyer.
