Franklyn Park ForestSouth Africa

--:--

Listen to the calls of hadada ibis as they fly over the forest at dawn. With time, more species, like the purple-crested turaco, southern boubou and green-backed camaroptera, start to sing. The sprawling grasslands of Limpopo are also home to some of South Africa’s most iconic wildlife — including lions, leopards, rhinos and giraffes.

We make an impact: In our nearly 40-year history, we have helped to place under formal protections 13 million square kilometers of vital lands and seas.

Protect critical ecosystems like this.
