To fulfill our mission of empowering societies to responsibly and sustainably care for nature, we invest in exceptional thinkers, innovators and leaders through our three distinct fellowship programs. Each opportunity offers fellows the chance to tackle critical global conservation issues with the support of CI’s unparalleled resources.
By engaging recognized leaders and emerging talent, the Lui-Walton Innovators Fellowship offers an unmatched opportunity to provide fresh thinking and extensive leadership to CI’s work around the world.
The Ann and Tom Friedman Fellows for Science Program supports the role that science plays in achieving CI’s conservation goals. During the two-year program, Friedman science fellows will participate in a cohort program that will provide leadership training, site visits and mentoring.
Through this fellowship, we are creating opportunities for indigenous leaders to explore solutions to the impacts of climate change and biodiversity loss using the traditional knowledge of men and women.
This unique fellowship program enlists visionaries and leaders to elevate the climate and conservation dialogue to the highest levels of government and industry, helping to create the political space for diplomacy and bold action on some of the most pressing challenges of our times.
