Conservation International is solving today’s pressing environment challenges using science, partnership and field work. To fulfill our mission of empowering societies to responsibly and sustainably care for nature, we invest in exceptional thinkers, innovators and leaders through our three distinct fellowship programs. Each opportunity offers fellows the chance to tackle critical global conservation issues with the support of CI’s unparalleled resources.
By engaging recognized leaders – Distinguished and Senior Fellows – and emerging talent – Fellows – the Lui-Walton Innovators Fellowship offers an unmatched opportunity to provide fresh thinking and extensive leadership to CI’s work around the world.
The Ann and Tom Friedman Fellows for Science Program recognizes and supports the key role that science plays in achieving CI’s conservation goals. During the two-year program, the Friedman science fellows will have the opportunity to participate in a cohort program that will provide leadership training, site visits and mentoring.
Through this fellowship, we are creating opportunities for indigenous leaders to explore solutions to the impacts of climate change and biodiversity loss using the traditional knowledge of men and women.
