The white-breasted sunbird and common bulbul sing at dawn — joined soon after by helmeted guineafowl and arrow-marked babblers. As temperatures rise due to climate change, the fresh water that these and many other species – including humans – rely on is becoming scarce. This is driving more frequent conflicts between humans and wildlife as they compete for dwindling resources.
We make an impact: In our nearly 40-year history, we have helped to place under formal protections 13 million square kilometers of vital lands and seas.
