Stabilize our climate by protecting and restoring nature
One of the simplest and most effective solutions to climate change is already all around us: nature. Research shows that protecting and restoring forests, mangroves, peatlands and other ecosystems could provide a third of the emissions reductions needed by 2030 to stabilize our climate.
Double ocean protection
Together with global leaders and local communities, we are working to protect 30 percent of the ocean by 2030 — maintaining its ability to feed communities, support economies and stabilize the climate.

Partnering with communities, businesses and governments, we are helping to build economies based on the protection — rather than the destruction — of nature.
