
Fiame Naomi Mataʻafa

Former Prime Minister of Samoa and the country's first woman prime minister.
A long-serving political leader and support for the Pacific and Small Island Developing States (SIDS), she has held portfolios including environment, justice, women, communities, social development and education. She is a strong advocate on Ocean Conservation, Climate Resilience, Regionalism, Gender Equity and Women Pacific leadership. She is currently a sitting member of the Samoan Legislative Assembly and the Leader of the Samoa Uniting Party (SUP).
