The CI-GCF Agency is designed to directly flow down GCF's policies and procedures minimizing additional requirements specific to Conservation International. As a small unit integrated within a global NGO, the CI-GCF Agency has the operational flexibility of a private organization, with limited additional bureaucracy, but with the experience and credibility of a large international institution.

All CI-GCF projects must adhere to the following policies and procedures:

• Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF)
• Procurement Policy
• Accountability and Grievance Redress Mechanism
