Curan Bonham is the Intervention Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, responsible for impact assessment of investments within the portfolio of two funds in Conservation International’s Ecosystem Finance Division: Global Conservation Fund and Verde Ventures. Prior to joining the Conservation, Priorities, and Outreach Unit in 2011, Curan worked for Bioversity International in India and Italy. He also worked as a forestry technician in the Intermountain West for the U.S. Forest Service and as an agricultural extension agent for Cornell Cooperative Extension. He was a Fulbright Scholar in Chile and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala. Curan holds an MS in Forestry and International Conservation and Development from the University of Montana and a BS in Natural Resources from Cornell University. Curan is the person to turn to for questions about monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment, impact investing, and conservation finance.
