With the support of our partners, CI and Shanshui installed and now monitor hundreds of cameras throughout known panda habitats in Southwest China. Without disturbing the pandas or introducing an intrusive human presence, these cameras tell us where pandas are, where and how they travel, how they interact with their habitat and other species, and what they need to survive and thrive. Think of it as undercover science – this is the detective work that later defines our conservation strategies.
