Poster Presented at the Global Science Conference on Climate Smart Agriculture
A poster entitled "Can Ecosystem-based adaptation help reduce the vulnerability of smallholder farmers to climate change in Central America?" was presented by Mario Chacón at the Global Science Conference on Climate Smart Agriculture in UC Davis on March 21st, 2013.
In this poster, we presented the results of a literature review conducted as part of the CASCADE project. The goal of the literature review was to identify which EbA practices have been documented for smallholder coffee and subsistence farmers in Central America, and explored which of these practices reduce vulnerability to climate change, in a sustainable way.
