Ecosystem-based adaptation

Through engagement with international policy fora, lessons from the project can inform the global dialogue on Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA), influencing how standards are developed and how EbA is implemented worldwide.

In calendar year 2011, the period of work for the IKI funded EbA initiatives, the international policy engagement efforts will be focused on the following:

  1. Create and strengthen relationships within the international policy arena
  2. Communicate the initiatives' goals and plans
  3. Raise awareness of EbA efforts on the ground
