Habitat
Largely unknown but they have been recorded to inhabit secondary lowland and costal forest.

Physical Characteristics:

  • Head and Body length: 124 mm (118-140 mm)
  • Tail length: 232 mm
  • Weight: male – 134 g; female – 117 g

Distinguishing features
Large eyes that are typical of nocturnal prosimians, grey coat, almost completely hairless tail, possess an elongated middle finger

Diet: Includes insects and other animal prey such as lizards.

Behavior
Arboreal, nocturnal, call extremely high pitched, eat only the live prey it catches, hunt by scanning the forest floor from the trees and then pounce on prey, can rotate head almost 360 degrees giving a wide field of vision.

Threats
Major threats include habitat destruction and collection by humans.
