Team Earth is a series of stories of Conservation International bringing together the right partners in the right places to achieve remarkable results.

Team Earth Features

Our writers go to the field, explore a project, and, through the stories of people they meet, link the remote to the global. We see how CI works with players along the spectrum, creating teams to help change the world. We also see how surprisingly interconnected we all are. Our first profile, Team Chiapas, links Mexican farmers to Starbucks, Arnold Schwarzenegger — and beyond.

Team Earth Snapshots

While Team Earth features drill down on a location, these video snapshots come from all around the world. They profile partners and staff; from former gang members protecting fresh water in Colombia to fishermen making biodegradable nets in Brazil, these snaps are another way to sample what CI is all about.

  • Rodrigo Leão de Moura
A CI staff member in Brazil researches snappers, groupers and whales. His work today could affect what you eat tomorrow. Watch »

  • Albino Neves

Why Team Earth?

Around the world, millions of people are doing amazing things to tackle the environmental challenges we face.

Key to CI's work is finding and connecting effective leaders and innovators so that, together, we can have even greater impact.

Our Team Earth project aims to tell sample short stories about our partners — stories that provide a taste of who these people are, how CI works with them to get global results … and how the work we do together is relevant to you.

Follow the connections. We hope you will get a better sense of what we do, how it relates to you — and what you can do to join Team Earth, too.
