For the past decade Sony has donated high-end production equipment to CI, helping our internal 
production studio make videos (like that of Jaco Galdino, a filmmaker and local hero in Caravelis, Brazil) that promote CI’s mission. 

Most recently Sony has made some of their newest 3D video and photography equipment available to CI, with the goal of capturing cutting edge conservation images from the field. 

October 2010: CI and Sony showcased the best nature images in 3D photography for the Sony + CI 3D kiosk at the Convention on Biological Diversity in Nagoya, Japan, which used the power of compelling visual images to make the case that healthy biodiversity is the foundation of human well-being 

In honor of Earth Day 2009, Sony Computer Entertainment America made a $1 contribution for each of the first 10,000 transactions on its PlayStation Networks in support of CI’s efforts to responsibly and sustainably care for nature for the well-being of humanity. This $10,000 donation to CI supports a larger partnership framework with Sony, and the promotion highlighted CI’s work to thousands of PlayStation users.
