2011: Newmont Mining Corporation is currently subscribed to IBAT for Business and utilizing its conservation priority datasets in its global risk assessment process for exploration activities.

CI partnered with Newmont from 2005 to 2009. At a corporate level, CI provided advice to Newmont on the development of a biodiversity strategy including a draft biodiversity management standard. In addition, our respective offices worked together in Indonesia on a mangrove restoration project in Aceh, and in Ghana on conservation initiatives around their two mine sites.
