Conservation International is working with Hewlett-Packard (HP) to leverage HP technologies and expertise to address social and environmental challenges through the Tropical Ecology Assessment and Monitoring (TEAM) Network. We aim to help local and global community leaders make better, data-driven decisions regarding land use, sustainable development and conservation—protecting people’s livelihoods and helping reduce the rate and impacts of climate change. This partnership will also contribute to furthering the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goal to integrate principles of sustainable development into country policies and programs and reverse or reduce the loss of environmental resources and biodiversity.
