2009: Entercom Communications Corp., one of the five largest radio broadcasting companies in the US, awarded CI a grant of airtime on its radio stations worth $1 million. The three-part series covered topics ranging from use of carbon offsets to financing conservation and support for local livelihoods in poor nations to the critical need for freshwater and the amazing world of amphibians.
Entercom also made donations to CI in honor of their employees on Earth Day from 2010 to 2012.
