2012: For the week of March 26th, CI was the featured charity for eBay’s Give at Checkout program. Customers were prompted to donate $1-$25 to CI at checkout and asked to donate a percentage of proceeds to CI when they posted a new item for sale.

Through eBay GivingWorks, users of the online marketplace can donate to CI when they buy and sell on eBay. Sellers can designate CI as the beneficiary for 10-100% of the sale price of any items. Shoppers can also make a $1 donation to CI when they check out with any eBay purchase. Find out more at www.ebay.com/conservation.

In March 2010, CI and eBay Inc. launched a cause marketing partnership in conjunction with eBay Green initiatives. Through this program, for every person that signed onto the eBay Challenge - a pledge to  purchase pre-owned and lightly used products - eBay donated $1 dollar to CI to protect an acre of threatened forest in the Calakmul Biosphere Reserve in Mexico, the Kayapó Indigenous Territory in Brazil or the Maiko-Tayna-Kahuzi-Biega Conservation Corridor in the DRC.
