Christie’s International – the renowned auction house – created Bid to Save the Earth, a one-of-a-kind live auction event to raise money to protect the future of our Earth.
On March 29, 2011, the world's top international collectors, philanthropists, celebrities and designers gathered at New York City's Rockefeller Center for a star-studded evening of entertainment, live fantasy Green Auction by Christie's and Runway to Green's fashion show from 20 of the worlds' leading designers. The proceeds from both events went to support the conservation efforts of four environmental organizations: Conservation International, the NRDC, the Central Park Conservancy and Oceana.
