CI Brazil and Alstom Corporate Foundation for the Environment, based in France, worked together in support of the multi-stakeholder Pacto pela Restauração da Mata Atlântica, or Pact for the Restoration of the Atlantic Forest - an initiative involving several segments of the civil society to promote the restoration of the biome, which has set the ambitious goal of restoring 15 million hectares of degraded lands by 2050.
