Base Camp 4
- This camp is located on one of the Delta’s many seasonally flooded islands.
- Here in the southern part of the Delta, the islands are sometimes called sandveldt tongues.
- These islands support vegetation and animal life more typical of the dry deciduous Kalahari woodlands to the east and north.
