Verde Ventures works together with other organizations in many ways, such as collaborating on technical assistance and project funding. The following are some of the organizations that Verde Ventures closely collaborates with to achieve its social, environmental and financial objectives.
Rainforest Alliance
Verde Ventures collaborates with Rainforest Alliance -- a nongovernmental organization focused on the protection of ecosystems, people and wildlife -- to promote sustainable financing opportunities for certified Rainforest Alliance partners. Rainforest Alliance offers several certifications that promote improvements in agriculture, forestry and tourism in accordance with specific environmental, social and economic criteria.

The SEED Initiative
The SEED Initiative is a global network for action on sustainable development partnerships founded by IUCN, UNEP and UNDP to help achieve the internationally agreed upon goals in the U.N. Millennium Declaration and the commitments made at the World Summit on Sustainable Development in 2002.
Verde Ventures is part of the SEED Associate Partners Network, a network of national, regional or global organizations active in the sphere of partnerships for sustainable development. Associate partners assist in outreach and delivery of the SEED Initiative on a regional or issue-specific basis and, where appropriate, provide services to SEED Award winners or assist with the SEED Research and Learning Channel.

Technoserve
Verde Ventures and Technoserve have collaborated to date on projects in Latin America and Africa. TechnoServe, Inc. is an international nonprofit development organization founded in 1968. Its mission is to help entrepreneurial men and women in poor rural areas of the developing world build businesses that create income, opportunity and economic growth for their families, communities and countries.

World Resources Institute - New Ventures
Verde Ventures has collaborated with New Ventures, a program of the World Resources Institute that supports sustainable enterprise creation through the acceleration of access to capital. New Ventures offers small- and medium-sized enterprises mentoring and assistance in the creation of business plans, as well as access to sources of financing through its New Venture Forums.
