Conservation Committee

The Biodiversity Review Committee assesses each new Verde Ventures potential investment to ensure the project will contribute to conserving critical natural wealth. Specific criteria under review include the levels of biological resources in the particular area, the ability of a project to mitigate threats to these resources and the fit within Verde Ventures’ strategic priorities.

The committee comprises senior CI representatives. The head of CI’s field program in the project’s corresponding region is brought in for each project under review as well.
