This reports presents an empirical study that sought to determind the link of population variables with the environment in the Philippine setting. This project provided a rare opportunity for government agencies, non-govermental organizations and academic institutions to bring together a pool of specialists in the field of demography, statistics, economics, geography, biology and biodiversity to study and address environmental issues and concerns from a collective vantage point.
