Seascapes
Sulu Sulawesi Seascape

The Sulu-Sulawesi seascape is located in the most diverse marine environment in the world, spanning the territories and waters of three countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

Bird's Head

Recording over 1,500 species of reef fishes and experiencing increasing threats from resource extraction and unsustainable development, the Bird's Head Seascape unquestionably ranks as a global priority for marine conservation.

Brazil

Over the last decade, CI’s Marine Program in Brazil has focused on the design and implementation of a network of multiple-use and no-take marine protected areas in the Abrolhos Region, the richest South Atlantic marine realm.

Eastern Tropical Pacific

The Eastern Tropical Pacific Seascape supports marine conservation and sustainable use of resources in the national waters, coasts and islands of Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador and Panama.

The Coral triangle

The Coral Triangle has the most diverse marine ecosystems in the world, with more than 500 species of coral, at least 3,000 species of fish and the greatest remaining mangrove forests on Earth. And it is the home of more than 150 million people.
