We support the development and implementation of conservation agreements in Earth’s biologically richest areas:

BIODIVERSITY HOTSPOTS
These are Earth's most biologically rich yet threatened places. Each hotspot holds especially high numbers of species found nowhere else, yet has lost at least 70 percent of its original natural vegetation. The hotspots are home to nearly 2 billion people, many of whom depend directly on healthy ecosystems for their livelihoods and well-being.

HIGH-BIODIVERSITY WILDERNESS AREAS
The high-biodiversity wilderness areas are five of the healthiest and most biologically unique wilderness areas. Unlike biodiversity hotspots, much of the original vegetation in these regions - at least 70 percent - remains intact. Our aim is to prevent their degradation into hotspots of the future.

KEY MARINE REGIONS
These are some of the world's most biologically rich, yet threatened, ocean and seascape environments. They shelter biological wonders and supply food, medicines and raw materials for people.
