The Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) predicts that climate change will become one of the most significant drivers of biodiversity loss by 2100, and this loss as well as other climate change impacts will have negative consequences for human wellbeing. Conversely, conserving and sustainably managing biodiversity is critical to addressing climate change.
