CELB is part of the TEEB for Business Coalition, which fits within the global initiative on The Economics of Ecosytems and Biodiversity (TEEB) being led by CI Board member, Pavan Sukhdev.
Coordinated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the TEEB for Business Coalition will catalyze research on the valuation of natural capital and externalities through implementation and standardization of measurement, as well as engagement on public policy reforms. The Coalition has potential to help transform the way business is done to meet the needs of people and the planet by creating a financial system that contributes to healthy sustainable economies. The goal is a world where business has a net positive impact on society and the environment.
