Priti Narasimhan joined the Climate, Community & Biodiversity Alliance (CCBA) as an advisor to work on the smallholder initiative that aims to facilitate the access of small-holder and community-led projects to carbon finance.Her primary work is to coordinate and implement the revision process to the CCB Standards. CCB Standards provide investors and project managers with a practical tool to evaluate the quality of land-based carbon mitigation projects from the early stages of development and they have since become the leading premium-quality standard for land based carbon projects
 
Priti joins CI with several years of experience in the private sector in the corporate banking industry having managed and provided advice to several corporate relationships on transaction banking products.  More recently she worked as a consultant for Climate Change in Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) and also worked with UNDP IPC-IG to develop a paper titled: "Social Technology for Sustainable Development: Valuing Social Capital." In addition, she has produced comprehensive reports on Climate Smart Agriculture. She is passionate about tri-sector leadership ( in building leaders across business, government and civil society) and wishes to leverage her private sector experiences to contribute to the the field of climate finance.
