Melissa joined Conservation International's Center for Environmental Leadership in Business (CELB) in October 2004 as an intern for the corporate partnerships and marketing teams. In September 2005, she assumed a full-time position as coordinator of corporate partnerships and is now Senior Manager. In this capacity, Melissa leads CELB's efforts on due diligence research for companies that CI is currently engaging.
Prior to her work with CELB, Melissa had previous experience with CI from 2002 to 2003 as an intern with the Center for Applied Biodiversity Sciences (CABS). In CABS, Melissa assisted Dr. Lee Hannah with his work editing the text Climate Change and Biodiversity (Lovejoy & Hannah, Yale UP, 2005).
