Angela Prosek is the new Director of Business Development for CI's
Center for Environmental Leadership in Business (CELB). Angela will be responsible for developing and executing a multi-year business development and funding program to ensure CELB’s growth over the next five years. Prior to taking on this new responsibility, Angela was part of CELB’s Corporate Relations Program. In her previous role, Angela worked to engage corporations as strategic partners in conservation and manage those relationships for mutual gain. When CELB launched in 2001, Angela was focused on marketing CI’s expertise and experience in engaging the private sector to key audiences as part of CELB’s Business Development and Marketing Program.
Angela joined CI after serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Nicaragua where she provided technical
assistance to a microcredit, non-governmental organization and created a training program in basic business principles for the agency’s credit recipients. Angela also worked with the Foundation for International Community Assistance (FINCA) where she conducted an evaluation on FINCA’s microcredit
programs in Mexico, Honduras and Ecuador.
A native of Wisconsin, Angela completed her undergraduate studies in Marketing and Business Administration at Carthage College and her graduate degree at George Washington University in Washington, DC. She is currently based with CI in Seattle, Washington.
