2009 Portland Reception

More than 100 guests turned out on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at the home of Jani and Bill McCormick to learn more about Conservation International at our second annual Portland reception. Bob Fisher, Director, Gap, Inc., and member of CI’s Board of Directors, delivered remarks highlighting the key elements of CI’s success: commitment to science, partnerships, and on-the-ground demonstration.
CI is grateful for the extraordinary generosity of the Portland community, notably Fenouil Parisian Brasserie for donating the amazing food, Karen Hinsdale & Michael Preisz and The Cellar Door for donating wine, and Jani & Bill McCormick for opening their home so graciously. Our deepest thank you to the CI-Portland Committee and all those that have generously supported this event.
