Short-winged Ringfoot Katydid

This short-winged katydid is potentially a new species and belongs most probably to its own new genus, related to Brachyteleutias.

It lives in an elevation of 1800 to 2200 m and its presence can easily be verified by its characteristic calling song. But only with an ultrasound detector, because the frequency range is fairly high (20-30 kHz), like in many katydids.
