Bank of America Charitable Foundation

The Bank of America Charitable Foundation announced in June 2008 a new $1 million grant to CI’s Center for Environmental Leadership in Business to promote private-sector environmental stewardship. The grant is part of Bank of America’s $20 billion, 10-year environmental initiative to reduce climate change through lending, investing, the creation of new products and services, philanthropy and operations.

Bank of America's environmental initiatives provide critical financing to encourage the development of environmentally sustainable products and technologies, accelerate the deployment of existing technologies, and increase energy efficiency.
