This position will track and maintain all corporate donor information in the Raiser's Edge Database. The employee will be responsible for the integrity of the database with respect to two primary areas of donor information: contact management information and revenue/donation information. By consolidating these responsibilities in one position, we will be able to streamline the information upload and maintenance to the central system as well as Center for Environmental Leadership in Business's compliance with institutional policy. The contact management portion of the position will require the following: entering new contact information; updating existing contact information; generating lists for mailings (e.g., events, board meetings, holiday cards, etc.); and other tasks as necessary. The revenue portion of the position will require: completing all forms necessary for revenue registration; maintaining corporate projections; uploading restricted proposals; drafting/sending acknowledgment letters; invoicing donors; registering pledges; reporting on revenue data and campaign progress for various meetings; ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the corporate annual report listing; and other tasks as necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain corporate revenue projections with information from account team
  • Register pledges and maintain detailed records in Raiser's Edge (RE)
  • Prepare revenue invoices for submission to Center donors (corporate, foundation, multi-lateral, etc.)
  • Complete necessary documentation for incoming revenue
  • Produce acknowledgment letters from RE database for corporate donations
  • Report on corporate revenue toward Center campaign and Fiscal Year goals to account team and CI finance by creating monthly reports
  • Research and clarify discrepancies in donations received
  • Monitor and maintain integrity of contact information by updating records with new information
  • With RE, generate invitation lists for CI board meetings and corporate events
  • Train CELB staff on the use of Raiser's Edge

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills:

  • Four year college degree, but experience will comensurate for college degree
  • Knowledge of Raiser's Edge 7.0 is essential to the success of this position
  • Two or more years relevant experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of database manipulation, specifically with customer relationship management
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is require

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in non-profit financial matters and processes
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem solver with ability to anticipate next steps
  • Intuitive self-starter with a proactive, get-it-done personal style
  • Demonstrated interest in the environment
