Center for Environmental Leadership in Business

We are seeking an eager individual to provide programmatic support to CI’s Center for Environmental Leadership in Business (CELB). The position will require administrative work and some content research on environmental challenges and corporate partnerships.

For two decades, CI has worked with our partners to protect life on Earth. We aim to protect life on Earth and to demonstrate that human societies will thrive when in balance with nature. We are proud to have some of the most original and passionate minds in conservation – trendsetting leaders, bold explorers, and pioneering researchers.

 Within the Center for Environmental Leadership in Business (CELB), Corporations aren’t the enemy. CELB provides a forum for collaboration between the private sector and the environmental community. CELB’s promotes business practices that reduce industry’s ecological footprint, contribute to conservation and create business benefits for participating companies. CI continues to be world leaders in helping businesses embrace sustainable practices across a broad range of industries and environmental issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide both administrative and content support for Conservation Investments & Business Practices teams
  • Research in CELB related areas, such as agriculture and fisheries, energy and mining, forestry, travel and leisure, and climate change with regards to corporate partnerships
  • Provide general support in communication, mailing and database-related tasks

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in international office culture
  • Proficient in MS Office, Outlook and Internet navigation
  • Some college: undergraduate or graduate student with interest in conservation
